In Western Australia, children are eligible to begin their education in Kindergarten. However, compulsory schooling starts the following year in Pre-primary.
For more information on when your child is eligible to start school, please refer to the School Age Calculator.
Parents are encouraged to submit an application by the closing date, regardless of if the child is of compulsory school age and is guaranteed a place in the school.
Mount Lawley Primary School is an Independent public school and welcomes students from Kindergarten to Year 6. As a local intake school, children who reside within our intake area are guaranteed enrolment. Out of Area applications will be considered in line with the Department of Education Enrolment Policy.
As the school has been at capacity for a number of years, it is unlikely students who reside outside of our intake area will be offered a place, however applications will be considered in line with the Department of Education Enrolment Policy.
To check if you are in the local intake area for Mount Lawley Primary School please refer to the Mount Lawley Primary School Catchment Area Map. Shaded areas indicate optional local-intake areas - please refer to the map description for further details.
