Learning Assistance Program (LAP)

LAP is a student-centred and volunteer-based programme designed to assist schools with implementing one-on-one learning that supports the wellbeing and learning outcomes of their students.

Mount Lawley Primary School has proudly been involved with LAP for over 26 years and are hoping to continue this program into 2026.

To assist with this, we rely on community volunteers who are able to spend one hour a week with a nominated student to mentor and guide then in various learning areas.

No experience is necessary as classroom teacher will provide suitable resources and activities for volunteers to work on with their nominated student.
