Welcome to the Mount Lawley Primary School Parents & Citizens' Association (P&C)
The purpose of the P&C is to promote the interests of the school through:
- cooperation between parents, teachers, students and members of the general community
- assisting in the provision of resources, facilities and amenities that benefit the whole school
- the fostering of community interest in educational matters
We encourage all members of the school community to participate in P&C meetings, activities and events.
Membership
Membership of the P&C is open to parents and carers of children attending the school and to citizens being over the age of eighteen years who support the objects or purposes of the Association. To become an official member of the P&C please refer to the Membership Form
Canteen Services
Our canteen, which is lovingly known as "Bells Canteen" is run by the P&C for the benefit of all the students and staff at Mount Lawley Primary School, the canteen is situated in the undercover area.
Bells is now open on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays only. Please note, the canteen is no longer open on Wednesdays.
Recess is a cash only service and it is recommended children bring coins or a $5 note.
Lunch orders are to be placed in advance using the online ordering system, QuickCliq before 8.45am. You will need to follow the prompts to set up an account and add each individual child profile, before placing an order.
PARENT TIP! Check to make sure your child's Year level and Room number are correct, and updated at the start of each year, to ensure they receive their lunch order.
The canteen is managed by Belinda Gambitta and we are always looking for volunteers. If you are interested in helping out for a couple of hours one day a week, please contact Belinda on 0411 478 474.
If you have any questions about the Canteen you can contact Canteen Manager, Belinda Gambitta, via email bells@mlpspc.org

Governance
The P&C is governed by its Constitution and Rules. The current Constitution was adopted in November 2019, replacing the prior version dated 2001.The P&C has established sub-committees and working groups in support of approved P&C activities. Each sub-committee/group abides by a Terms of Reference (TOR) that has been approved by the full P&C.
P&C General Meetings
We welcome everyone to P&C General Meetings; they are held once each term. We meet on the Thursday of Week 5 in the school staff room, starting at 6pm.
The meetings are a great way to understand and contribute to the activities of the P&C. The Principal attends each P&C meeting, which provides a great way for everyone to stay connected on key topics relevant to the school.
The meeting Agenda is emailed to existing P&C members in advance of the meeting (usually a week beforehand). If you are not yet an official member of the P&C and would like to receive the agenda, please send an email to contact@mlpspc.org
P&C Facebook group
We recommend all members of the school community join the P&C's dedicated Facebook group. We use the P&C Facebook page to advertise our wide range of P&C events. If you do not have Facebook, then look out for P&C notices in the school's newsletter (published online every fortnight).
